We are pleased to announce that SNCF renewed its trust in Craie Design selecting I-Kube bespoke concept and WeMeet Share Retractable meeting table for one more Parisian station: Gare de Lyon. The passenger platform overhanging Hall 2 is split into 2 different spaces: an operations unit together with a meeting/crisis space.
I-Kube for your Crisis Room
The situation room of the Interdepartmental Crisis Center (CIC) is regularly activated in Paris Department of the Interior: recently for the terrorist attack at the former offices of Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine, for the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 and the “yellow vests” movement in France from November 2018 and on. It can also be activated for aircraft crashes such as the Germanwings A320 in 2015 or IRMA hurricane in 2017.
Videosurveillance operators must keep working for many hours in front of multiple screens. It could be hard for them to stay focus all day/night long. Thus, the workstation ergonomics are important to remain efficient but also to stay healthy. It should be possible to carry out maintenance operations without disturbing operators work thanks to an optimum cable management and extra appliances integration. I-Kube is the answer to all those needs.

Based in the North Province of New Caledonia (about 200 miles from Noumea), Koniambo Nickel SAS is one of the world’s largest nickel producer dealing with the whole process from extraction to export. They selected I-Kube bespoke concept for one of their dispatch room in Varouto mine.
